Please come and join the next Derbyshire Dialogue, taking place on Microsoft Teams on Tuesday 23rd November 2021 2:00pm – 3:00 pm with the focus being on the Quality Conversations programme.
Joined Up Care Derbyshire is working hard to ensure that we are having ‘Quality Conversations’ with our patients, their families, carer’s and the wider population.
The Quality Conversation approach starts with ‘What matters to you’. The training offered helps staff and volunteers develop a two way approach that supports patient-centred care. Crucially, training is also grounded in an understanding of the impact of unfair differences in people’s circumstances on their health. Training in the approach is available to all staff working across the Derbyshire system staff and volunteers in a ‘patient facing’ role.
In this Derbyshire Dialogue session we would like to share with you what the programme involves, what makes a Quality Conversation and the value it can have on individuals and organisations alike.
We’d really like this to be an interactive session and to have a quality conversation with you, and listen to your thoughts and ideas about the approach, and explore the different ways in which you can be involved or ideas you have for us to develop the programme.
The speakers will be:
Sandra Hicken – Quality Conversations Programme Lead
Dr Jo Hall – Principal Clinical Psychologist, Derbyshire County Council and Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust
