Derbyshire Voluntary Action has been supporting health and wellbeing related voluntary and community sector organisations in Chesterfield and North Derbyshire since 1991. Throughout 2021 we will be sharing memories and stories from the last thirty years and showing ways that you can support and strengthen your local voluntary sector – to support better health and wellbeing in Derbyshire.
Innovation Fund
It’s our ambition that Derbyshire will have the strongest, most joined up and well-resourced voluntary and community sector supporting healthy, happy communities and empowering people to make the changes they want to see. We are aiming to raise an ambitious £30,000 throughout the year, whilst building relationships with local business to help them to invest in the health and wellbeing of the communities where their staff and clients live. The funds will be used to grow our support for the local voluntary and community sector, and by donating to our innovative and thriving charity, your investment will reach over 350 organisations throughout North Derbyshire.

If you are an individual who would like to get behind our campaign, there are lots of ways you can do so including spreading the word and sharing your stories of the difference the voluntary sector has made to you on social media, or via email . We aren’t asking members of the public for donations, but if you feel that you would like to donate then we would recommend a one-off gesture of £30.
