Derbyshire Voluntary Action (DVA) is launching its State of the Sector Survey 2026, inviting voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCFSE) organisations across Derbyshire to share their experiences.
At a time when demand for services continues to rise and resources remain stretched, it is more important than ever that the voice of the sector is clearly understood.
This survey will provide vital insight to:
- Inform local funding and investment decisions
- Influence NHS 10-year plan discussions
- Support neighbourhood and community transformation work
- Ensure the VCFSE sector is represented in strategic decision-making
Why this matters
VCFSE organisations are often the first to see emerging needs in communities—and the last line of support when services are stretched.
This survey will help ensure that:
- The challenges facing organisations are recognised
- The impact of the sector is evidenced
- Future support is shaped around real need
