Health & Wellbeing Grants Now Reopen for North East Derbyshire Groups

NED Map on background

We’re excited to announce that Derbyshire Voluntary Action’s Health & Wellbeing Grants are now open again, but this time exclusively for groups based in North East Derbyshire! If you run a local voluntary, community project aiming to improve health, build wellbeing or reduce isolation in your neighbourhood – we want to hear from you.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Each grant is up to £1,000, supporting new activities or scaling up existing ones.

  • The scheme covers key public health priority areas, including children & young people starting well, mental health, tackling major risk factors that lead to poor health, and building resilient, independent communities.

  • Applicants must supply some financial details, bank information, and evidence of how they’ll measure impact.

  • Projects should show whether they expect to continue after the grant and how they will collect feedback & evaluate their work.

Important timings:

  • Closing Date: Applications will be assessed on a first-come, first-served basis until all funds have been allocated.

  • Who can apply: Groups located in North East Derbyshire (or whose beneficiaries are from that area)

If you need help with your application, we’re here to support you! Contact Kim Gosling via grants@dva.org.uk or call / message us on 07546 023161.

This is a great opportunity to make a difference locally – whether that’s by bringing people together, offering wellbeing activities, or helping reduce health risks in your community. Don’t miss out – apply now and let’s build healthier, stronger neighbourhoods together.
