Before completing this application form, please read the Derbyshire Grant Guidance Notes to make sure your organisation is eligible and that your proposed project or activity meets the funding criteria.

Grants of between £500 and £2,500 are available.

Applications are open to voluntary, community and not-for-profit organisations and groups, and schools based in and working in Derbyshire, for projects focused on improving the environment, sustainability and/or eco-friendly activities.

Please note: this grant cannot support projects or activities taking place in Derby City.

Before you start

You will need the following information and documents to complete your application:

Please note you will need to complete the application in one sitting so try to ensure you have all you need to hand. The application should take no more than 10 minutes. 

• Details about your organisation or group
• A signed copy of your constitution or governing documents
• Your organisation’s bank details
• A copy of your public liability insurance policy, or an insurance quote if appropriate
• Details of your proposed project
• An itemised breakdown of what the grant will pay for
• Your proposed project start and end dates
• Information about who will benefit from the project
• Details of any partners, organisations or local residents involved

Please ensure all questions are fully answered, as incomplete applications may result in delays.

Applications close Friday 23 October 2026. 

Only one Derbyshire Grant is available per organisation.
