Introducing the Derbyshire Community Hubs Network.
This network will create a strong community of supportive relationships to unlock the potential of community hubs across our region.
The network will learn from each hub’s experiences, enable peer support, joint training, and knowledge sharing. To support development, funding is available for capacity building in each of our eight Place Alliance areas.
Connecting Events
Derbyshire Community Hubs Network holds regular connecting events across Derbyshire. These events meet our objectives to bring together the people at the heart of Community Hubs, those on the journey to creating one and those who are keen to engage with Community Hubs.
Make sure that you are on our mailing list to keep up to date with activity and to receive invitations for future Connecting Events.
Derbyshire Community Hubs Network Forum
We know that there are many fantastic community hubs across Derbyshire which work hard to support and celebrate their community. Every hub is individual because it works so closely with the people in the area. This strength can also create isolation. Building this network will allow us to collaborate and learn from one another. There is an opportunity for hubs to connect and create a community of communities! Join the conversation now on our dedicated Forum page.

Training opportunities through Derbyshire Community Hubs Network
With the recent cuts to discretionary funding announced by Derbyshire County Council, charities, community groups, and voluntary organisations across Derbyshire face an unprecedented challenge. At Derbyshire Voluntary Action, we’ve heard the concerns of our members loud and clear. The question is: how do we keep delivering vital services with reduced financial support?
In direct response to the needs of our members, we are thrilled to launch our Fundraising Masterclass Training & Tea series, kicking off in January 2025. This series is designed to equip VCSE groups with the tools and confidence to unlock new funding opportunities, align their missions with funder priorities, and craft standout applications that make an impact. Join us online for a bitesize training session that will set you up for the year!
