Introducing the Derbyshire Community Hubs Network.
This network will create a strong community of supportive relationships to unlock the potential of community hubs across our region.
The network will learn from each hub’s experiences, enable peer support, joint training, and knowledge sharing. To support development, funding is available for capacity building in each of our eight Place Alliance areas.
The launch event is planned to be a welcoming space to gather and begin to explore the potential of the network. With a creative, purposeful agenda we will explore ideas and collaborate to develop an approach with the network members as the focus.
We know that there are many fantastic community hubs across Derbyshire which work hard to support and celebrate their community. Every hub is individual because it works so closely with the people in the area. This strength can also create isolation. Building this network will allow us to collaborate and learn from one another. There is an opportunity for hubs to connect and create a community of communities!
