Derbyshire County Council’s Falls Prevention Social Marketing Campaign has relaunched across Derbyshire. As part of this campaign, they are running a small grants scheme to support local activities, especially amongst community groups, teams and services who are not usually involved in falls prevention work. They would welcome applications from across Derbyshire but are particularly interested in those people who live and work in areas with higher numbers of fallers. These are High Peak, Chesterfield, South Derbyshire and Amber Valley (Belper).
- Information, an application form and reporting template can be accessed HERE
- The closing date is Monday 21st September 2020.
As part of the activity, Derbyshire County Council can provide support to successful recipients. This will include help with planning, evaluation, free falls awareness training and training around ‘How to Engage communities remotely/digitally’.
