Cost of Living Crisis – Urgent DWP Scam Alert
There is a potential scam to be aware of regarding the Cost of Living Crisis payments (the first payment of £326 will automatically be dropping into eligible customers bank accounts between 14/7/22 and 31/7/22).
Scammers are contacting customers by text & asking for their bank account details to confirm which account to pay it into. This text looks like it is from DWP – this is a scam and people should never text their bank account details anywhere and DWP would never ask for them by text.

Let’s Chat Derbyshire – have you spotted the bench signs yet?
Today is the launch of Derbyshire County Councils “Let’s Chat Derbyshire” bench signs campaign.
These signs are to encourage conversations, encourage people to get out and about visiting new locations, as well as providing information around Mental Health Support and isolation.
Derbyshire County Council have been working in partnership with local councils, communities and partners including Chatsworth right across Derbyshire to get the signs up and map them across the County.
From the 4th July DCC have commissioned Tony Fisher, a local and professional photographer to capture pictures of the benches and them being used, from this they will be creating an exhibition across the winter to support in bringing the campaign indoors.
There is an interactive map where anyone can locate benches to visit https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/viewer?mid=1SllBphF97tIAmgpMeH7UrKF7f9O0ZCOy&ll=53.14952694172922%2C-1.561979649999996&z=10
If you would like to share the “Let’s Chat” message you can use the resources here https://www.dropbox.com/sh/lg1d8067pcgnmoa/AAConnXMcgxR2ANG3if-FsaOa?dl=0
